This annual event celebrates Martin Luther King Jr, who believed in democracy. The peace walk begins at Hope United Methodist Church (26275 Northwestern Highway, Southfield, MI) at 9:30 am followed by an 11 am program at Southfield Pavilion. Ask people to sign before the program begins at 11 am, so showing up at Southfield Pavilion by 10 am would be good timing.  A taste fest follows the commemorative program.
