The morel mushroom festival in Mesick is a real delight. Takes place starting Friday with a flea market, carnival, pastie sale, and live music in the evening. Saturday begins with a 5k run/walk at 8 am, music and dancing, children's events, food, etc.  The PARADE is at 12 noon on Saturday. Come earlier to collect signatures from parade watchers as they line the street. Sunday more of the same, except no parade.
